ConformKit: the EU legal guarantee notice, in your customer's language
From 27 September 2026, traders selling goods to consumers in the European Union must display the harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity, set out in Regulation (EU) 2025/1960. ConformKit puts it on your WordPress site, using the European Commission’s official file.
What the regulation requires
Directive (EU) 2024/825 requires traders to inform consumers about the legal guarantee of conformity. Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 sets the exact form: a harmonised notice, the same across the Union, and a harmonised label for the commercial durability guarantee.
- The notice is shown prominently on the site where you sell.
- Online, the colour version is used.
- The notice is in the language of the country where you offer the products.
- The notice’s content and layout are not changed.
What ConformKit does
The official file, not a copy
The plugin shows the image and PDF published by the European Commission. It doesn’t redraw or translate the notice.
The right language, automatically
It follows the site language and the active language in WPML or Polylang. You can also pick the language manually. If a language is missing, it shows the English version.
Page and links, ready-made
On activation it creates a “Legal guarantee” page with the notice, adds the link to the footer and a reminder next to the WooCommerce checkout.
Anywhere else you need it
The [conformkit_notice] shortcode puts the notice on any page: terms and conditions, shipping, returns.

Any WordPress online store selling goods to consumers in the EU, with or without WooCommerce, in one language or several.
The legal guarantee notice is mandatory for all traders. The label for the commercial durability guarantee is mandatory only for producers that offer such a guarantee, longer than two years.

The free version covers the obligations. Pro adds automation, proof and checks for shops that sell in several countries.

Frequently asked questions
How does the licence work?
The licence is yearly and is activated in WordPress with the key you receive by email. The number of sites depends on the plan. You can move it from one site to another at any time.
What happens if the licence expires?
Pro features stop, but your data stays in the shop and free ConformKit keeps working. When you renew, Pro starts again with everything you had.
Do I need Pro?
For the basic obligations, no: the free version covers them. Pro is for shops that sell in several countries, want proof on every order or have many products to set up.
