What we do every month

Checked updates
Core, themes and plugins. After every update we open the site and check the cart and the forms.
Backups
Kept off the server and tested by restoring. A backup you haven’t tried isn’t a backup.
Security
Firewall, file scanning and blocking of login attempts. We also clean sites that are already infected.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
We measure before and after. If a change didn’t make the site faster, we roll it back.
Monitoring
We find out the site is down before you do, not from an annoyed customer who couldn’t place an order.
An hour of work included
Small changes — a text, a price, a new page — are part of the plan, not a separate invoice.

Why it matters

A WordPress site left untouched for two years doesn’t stay the same: it stays on a PHP version that is no longer supported, with plugins that have publicly known holes. Most infections we have cleaned didn’t come from a targeted attack, but from an update postponed for months.

Fixing it afterwards costs more than the plan that would have prevented it, and comes with days when the store doesn’t sell.
